Testperson 3 (m, 26)

Laut Fragebogen spricht die Versuchsperson Deutsch mit fränkischem Dialekt der Ausgeprägtheit 2. Dieser wird in Arbeit oder Universität nicht angewandt. Der Proband gibt neun Jahre Englischunterricht in der Schule und sieben Wochen Auslandsaufenthalt an. An der Universität studiert er Anglistik im sechsten Semester und hat einen Sprachpraktischen Grund- und Aufbaukurs, den Phonetikkurs und die Zwischenprüfung hinter sich gebracht (Angaben zum Fragebogen ergänzt). Weiter hat er in einem zweiwöchigen Ferienkurs in Spanien, sowie für ein halbes Semester an der Universität begonnen, Spanisch zu lernen. Der Proband liest mindestens einmal pro Woche in einem englischsprachigen Buch oder sieht sich englischsprachige Filme an.

play Cartoon 1: Unbedachte Hilfeleistung

Cartoon 1 First story. Erm – while father works in the garden, – erm – son pulls at a rope that comes out of the window of the house. As he pulls in vain, the father offers him to help 'im. Erm – he pulls very hard an' suddenly an upright piano that's attached to the end of the rope comes out of the window. So – erm – the father gets very angry and chases the son.


play Cartoon 2: Unschädlich gemacht!

Cartoon 2 Father an' son see a crow that / or a bird that picks the seed out of a bed of peas. They chase the bird away and – erm – father begins to sow again / the the peas / while son sneaks up behind the bird that's watching the father – erm – son / The son sneaks behind the bird and catches it and blindfolds it.


play Cartoon 3: Der Simulant

Cartoon 3 In the morning father – erm – tells son to get (go?) to school but son feels his forehead and tells him he's ill and has a temperature – erm – so father nurses him and he takes a rope and – erm – attaches the bed to a hook in in the ceiling so that it can swing. So father reads a story to son and swings – erm – while he swings the bed. Later father leaves son alone and – erm – goes to buy a tea an' when he comes back son is – erm erm – very (lacht) / well he he swings very high on the bed and / very good mood and is obviously not ill so father's angry and sends 'im to school.


play Cartoon 4: Der letzte Apfel

Cartoon 4 Father an' son are trying to to get the last apple off a small apple tree. The father shakes the tree very hard, but the apple doesn't fall down. So son takes a cane and throws it as... after the apple but the cane only hits father on the head. The third picture: Father climbs up the tree and tries to reach the apple – erm – with a cane. But he can't climb very high because the tree is very small and – erm – bends down and / (räuspert sich) So the next try father takes his shoe and throws it after the apple but the shoe – erm – stays on the tree so father has to use the cane and – erm – to to jump and an' and get the the the this his shoe back of the tree. Erm – finally father and son give up and walk away and – erm – the apple falls down – erm ... (unverständlich)


play Cartoon 5: Jagdglück wider Willen

Cartoon 5 Father an' son are being chased by a leopard. The leopar... leopard – er er – hold of of one of – erm – of the pair of braces of father's trousers and father tries / still tries to run away and holds to a tree but – erm – can't hold on any longer and and the the leopard pulls on the / on the braces and as father – erm – lets go of the tree he – erm – is being catapulted by the / by the braces on the leopard and / leopard an' knocks 'im out. In the last picture father proudly presents the the unconscious leopard to to son / to the son.
